DO WE STILL HAVE ELDERSTATEMEN IN NIGERIA?

My reponse to a statement by Mr. Tony Anenih in Daily Trust of Tuesday 7th December, 2010 (Muharram 2, 1432 AH) reads - "I always wonder when "elderly" people speak without thinking. Anenih should know that as he cannot determine what tomorrow holds for Nigeria so can he not dare stick out his neck and say "No vacancy in Aso Rock 2011". He cannot tell patroitic Nigerians that he holds the key to that house and therefore is in a position to determine who enters it. His statements only show how desperate him and his sychophant mates are to rig the 2011 elections. Mr. Anenih's previous utterances are unpatroitic as he is bent on "imposing" his selfish wishes on more than 150 million people who need change. The reason why PDP has not yet fully delivered is because people like Anenih are talking without considering the outcome of what they say. Please, Mr. Anenih allow NIGERIANS (the real landlords of Aso Rock) to decide the issue of Aso Rocks Vacancy."

To this blogspot i add that Mr. Anenih may claim to be an elderstateman but this statement he's made was not the first in this regard and he is repeating it. Nigeria needs leaders who watch and guard their words before uttering them. I believe Mr. Anenih is repeating that "No vacany in Aso Rock 2011" because he's expecting to be rewarded whether this statement suits 150 million people of Nigeria or not. Let him (Anenih) know that he is not GOD. We are praying for the BEST to happen to Nigeria today and always...so he cannot impose his sychophantic and selfish ideologies on us. NIGERIA is greater than his ageing brain.
